I have a pretty big pile of yard waste and some old furniture I need to get rid of this weekend. I'm trying to decide between Junk Removal SCV and 1-800-Got-Junk. Has anyone used either (or both) and can tell me which one is better/cheaper?

100% go with the local guys. The quality of work is way better because they actually care about their reputation in the community. Plus, they usually offer same-day service if you call early enough.

I got a quote from the big national chain once and it was ridiculously high just for a few items. I ended up going with Junk Removal SCV instead. Their affordable pricing honestly blew the bigger guys out of the water.
Got-Junk is fine but you pay a massive premium for the brand name. For fast junk removal in Santa Clarita, the local SCV guys are the way to go. They swept up my driveway after loading everything which was a nice touch.
