Remembering that crazy rainstorm that exposed a fossil bed back in '08

We got over six inches of rain in two days up near the Montana border, and it washed out a whole hillside. Underneath was this layer of shale just packed with small, perfect ammonites. It was one of those rare times you just stumble onto something amazing without even looking for it. Has anyone else had a weather event suddenly reveal something cool like that?
