Ugh, tell me about it... like @the_james said, the whole schedule goes out the window. Guess they wanted the "surprise remodel" package.

Wait, did they really try to change things after you already started the work? That's actually insane. The whole schedule and material list is built around the first plan. Ngl, it throws everything off and costs way more time than people realize. You absolutely have to bill for that, no question. It's not being greedy, it's just covering the chaos they caused.
