Just dropped $40 on a changing bag after my bathroom light leak disaster...
It felt like a lot for a black cloth sack, but it saved my last two rolls of Portra 400. What's your go-to for loading film in a not-so-dark room?

A thick blanket in a closet worked for me once.

Curious what you were trying to do with the blanket in the closet, @the_robin. Was it for sound dampening or maybe to keep something from getting too cold? I've tried similar stuff for noise, but a blanket alone never cut it for me. It always felt like I needed more mass to really block sound. Did you layer it with anything else or just use the one thick blanket?
