Organic cotton prices are killing my design dreams

I mean, idk, maybe it's just me, but I tried to sketch a line using all sustainable fabrics. The quote for the organic cotton alone was insane, like triple what I budgeted. Everyone says to go green, but how are new designers supposed to start? I had to drop half my ideas because the costs were too high. Now I think the whole eco trend is just for big brands with deep pockets.
