I saw a client's skin react badly to a popular peel at a trade show in Chicago.

It was a demo booth, and they used a 30% glycolic formula on a client who said she had sensitive skin. Her face turned bright red and started stinging within two minutes. Do you guys still trust those quick demo peels on strangers?

Forget trusting the peel, I don't trust the person applying it. Those demo techs are often salespeople with minimal training, not actual estheticians. They're pushing product, not doing a real skin consult. That client's reaction was a guaranteed outcome they just ignored to make a sale. The whole setup is designed for profit, not safety.

You're right about the "profit, not safety" part, I used to think those demos were harmless.
