I finally had a client who really got what I was trying to do with her skin

This was about two months ago with a regular who came in for a facial. She'd been dealing with some redness and texture for a while. I explained my whole plan for her, focusing on barrier repair and being super gentle, and she just looked at me and said, 'I trust you, let's do it.' That simple phrase hit me. It happened right in my treatment room, with the steam machine humming. We stuck to the plan for six weeks, and at her last visit, she pointed to her cheek and said, 'It just feels calm now.' It wasn't a huge transformation, but seeing her actually understand the process, not just want a quick fix, made all the difference. Has anyone else had a client moment that just made the routine work feel worth it?

My last client who listened that well was probably back in 2019. I'm starting to think I just have a face that screams "try this weird internet trend instead.
