Co-work space in Chiang Mai cost me more than my rent

I joined this fancy co-work spot for $300 a month thinking it'd boost my productivity but the constant "networking events" ate into my actual work time by like 4 hours a week. Has anyone else found that paying for a desk just adds distractions instead of focus?

Heard this exact thing from a buddy who signed up for that fancy co-work space on Nimman. He was paying $250 a month and spent half his time dodging smoothie vendors and photography meetups... actually got less done than when he worked from his apartment. Ended up just eating the cost for the last two months of his contract.
