Booked a $9 hostel in Chiang Mai and finally figured out what I was doing wrong with my money
Been nomading for 14 months and always went for the $30+ private rooms because I thought dorms were too much hassle. Then a guy from Berlin in the bunk next to me mentioned he'd been gone 3 years on the same budget I burned through in 6 months. Turns out I was paying for comfort I wasn't even using since I always worked from cafes anyway. Anyone else realize their biggest money leak was something dumb like that?
