Spent $60 on a heavy duty respirator for a moldy food court
Best money I ever dropped. The air was thick with spores in the old Sunrise Mall basement. Anyone else run into serious mold issues? What gear do you bring?

My old half-face cartridge mask felt fine until I saw the green dust on the filter after that flooded library job... now I won't go in without a full respirator.

Damn, that sounds intense. What kind of mold was it, like did you see big patches or was it just that dusty feeling everywhere? I've only ever used a basic n95 for musty basements.

Man, the gear is one thing, but what about your clothes after? I did a really damp old office once and my jacket was covered in this fine gray powder. Washed it three times and it still smelled like wet dirt. That stuff gets everywhere. You ever worry about bringing spores home in your hair or on your shoes?
