Vent: my 2006 flip phone finally gave up after 19 years

The hinge snapped clean off Tuesday while I was closing it after a call at a jobsite in Akron, and the backup I bought online won't even hold a charge for 6 hours, has anyone else had luck reviving these old Samsung models or should I just dig through e-waste bins for a donor screen?
