That old RadioShack solder station still beats my $150 Hakko for through-hole work
After 20 years of struggling with cold joints on vintage circuit boards, I dug out my dad's 1987 RadioShack 15-watt iron and it flows into those big solder pads like butter, has anyone else found an old cheap tool that just works better for certain jobs?
