My old Nokia 3310 finally gave up the ghost yesterday after 18 years

I had it sitting in my glovebox as a backup phone, and when my daily phone died tuesday, I went to charge the Nokia and the battery port just cracked apart. The whole plastic casing is brittle and the charger barely makes contact anymore. Anyone know a decent repair shop in the Portland area that still works on these bricks?

Wait, you kept a phone from high school as a backup? That's wild honestly. I used to think people hanging onto old phones were just being stubborn about new tech, but my parents still have their old flip phones in the junk drawer and now I kinda get it. I dropped my smartphone yesterday and the screen cracked so bad I can't even type, and now I'm wishing I had something like that Nokia just sitting around. The fact that yours lasted 18 years is insane though, most phones can't even make it through an 18 month contract anymore.

Those Nokias were built like TANKS, shame about the charging port though.
