Bought a $45 'refurbished' iPod Classic on eBay that died in 3 weeks
I mean, the listing said it was tested and working, and the seller had good feedback, so I figured why not. It lasted about 20 days before the hard drive started clicking and it wouldn't sync anymore, and of course the return window had already closed. Now I'm out the 45 bucks plus the 18 I spent on a new battery thinking I could fix it myself, and the screen is still frozen on the Apple logo. Has anyone actually had luck with those cheap eBay refurb sellers or is it just a gamble every time?
