Paid $60 for a prompt generator pack and ended up back on free Reddit threads
I thought buying a fancy prompt bundle would fix my writer's block, but the prompts were just reworded versions of stuff I already saw here for free. What actually changed my mind was a comment from a user who said the best prompts come from real life messes, not paid templates. I sat down and wrote a story about my own failed garage sale and it got more likes than anything I made with that pack. Anybody else wasted cash on writing tools that turned out to be a scam of recycled ideas?

Bought a $40 notion template for "content ideas" and it was literally just a list of generic topics I could've made myself in ten minutes. Wrote a post about my garbage disposal breaking and it did better than anything from that template. Real life stuff just hits different, even when it's boring and dumb.
