Just realized my writing prompts used to be all about big epic battles and now I can't stop making characters argue over grocery lists and parking spots

I think it started about 6 months ago when I wrote a scene about two people fighting over the last avocado at a farmers market and it got more comments than any of my dragon war prompts ever did, has anyone else felt their focus shrink from the grand to the small like that?

Yeah "small details feel realer" really hit me too. There's something way more human about noticing the little things than blowing everything up.
