Hit 100 reads on my newest short story and it felt wrong
I posted a 2,000 word horror piece on a Tuesday night, expected maybe 12 hits from the critique circle, but 100 reads by Friday morning made me second guess every choice, so has anyone else felt suspicious when a random prompt story suddenly out performs everything else you've written?

...and now I'm convinced the algorithm glitched or someone fat-fingered a botnet onto my page. 100 reads on a Tuesday horror piece? That's like finding a hundred bucks in a coat pocket, then immediately checking if it's fake. Spent the whole weekend rereading my own story, looking for the accidental genius part I must have missed. Turns out the real horror is my own imposter syndrome, it's got better pacing than anything I've written.
