Oh wow, I totally get where you're coming from but I see it a little differently! I think sometimes people just click with their work in a way that makes them stand out, and that's not a bad thing. It could be that they found the perfect fit for their skills or they really care about what they do and it shows. Being good at your job for a long time doesn't automatically mean you're looking down on others, it might just mean you're dedicated. I feel like we should give folks the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming the worst about their success.
