Sat in a Syracuse laundromat for 2 hours and finally got why I keep quitting farming sims
I was stuck waiting on a dryer last Saturday because the one at my apartment building died, so I brought my Switch and fired up Stardew on a new save. Two hours later I had barely finished spring and I felt weirdly calm about it, which never happens when I play at home. It hit me that I always rush the first season, min max everything, and burn out by fall. Watching the spin cycle with no wifi and no wiki open, I just fished and talked to townspeople and actually had fun. Does anyone else play way slower when they are not in their own house, or is that just a me thing?
