Had a little girl teach me how to play Stardew at my cousin's place last month

I was visiting my cousin in Portland and her 8 year old daughter grabbed my tablet, loaded up her farm, and just started explaining her whole setup with the chickens and the cranberry fields. She got real serious and said 'you have to water the pumpkins before you talk to anyone in town, that's the rule.' I kept asking questions just to see how deep it went and she walked me through like 20 minutes of crop rotation and which villagers to give gifts to. It was honestly the most chill I'd been all year, just sitting on the floor taking orders from this tiny farm boss. Has anyone else had a kid turn their cozy game into a whole mentorship thing with you?

Is letting an 8 year old boss you around really that great though? Sounds like a one way ticket to getting guilt tripped into watering fake pumpkins for hours.
