Switched my highlight foils after a client pointed it out

I used the same thick foils for years until a client asked why her highlights looked so chunky last month. Tried the thinner ones on a whim and the blend is way softer, plus I'm using less product per section. Has anyone else made a random tool swap that fixed something you didn't even realize was off?
