Figured out the bald patch under my clippers was from pushing too hard on the foil shaver
I was doing a fade on a regular client yesterday and noticed a worn spot on my foil shaver head that I had been ignoring for way too long. Turns out I had been pressing down way too hard on the foil for months, and when I finally let the tool do the work with light pressure, the shave came out cleaner and the irritation on his neck was way less. Has anyone else had a tool tell them they were working too hard before they actually noticed?

Man, same thing happened with my trimmer blades getting dull and I kept pushing harder without even thinking about it. Once I swapped in fresh blades and eased up, the cuts got way smoother and my wrist stopped hurting too.
