A foreman in Houston called my punch lists "a novel nobody reads", so I started capping them at one page
He pulled me aside after a walkthrough at a 40 unit complex and said if the list ran past a page the subs would just toss the whole thing. So now I group items by trade, keep it to one page per sub, and my closeout times went from 3 weeks down to 9 days. Anyone else rework their closeout docs after getting called out?
