Tried the plastic sheet trick on a hot day pour in Phoenix and it saved me

Last week it hit 108 by noon so I laid 6 mil plastic over the fresh slab after floating and it held the bleed water back way better than misting, anyone else tried this or got something that works when it's brutal out?
