Spent 2 hours on a printer that just needed the driver rolled back one version
Client in Tampa called me out for a laser printer that kept dropping off the network every 20 minutes, and I tried new cables, static IP, the whole checklist before I noticed Windows had pushed a driver update 2 days earlier. Rolled it back one version and it ran clean for a full week straight, no drops at all. Anybody else getting burned by auto driver updates on networked printers, and do you block them or just deal with it case by case?
