Rant: a kid at my local shop in Sacramento called my floppy collection "grandpa books" and now I keep thinking about it
Stopped by Empire's Comics on Free Comic Book Day and got talking to a teenager who was grabbing the new Ultimate stuff. He glanced at my stack of single issues and said bags and boards are "grandpa books" since everything is on an app anyway. I laughed it off in the store, but three days later it hit me that he's probably right that floppies are dying, and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I have 14 short boxes from 1988 to now and half of them I bought for covers I just liked. So do you all still buy singles, or have you given up and gone all trades and digital like this kid?
