I compared a $20 blade grinder to a $100 burr grinder side by side last week
The blade grinder made my pour over taste like dirt with huge chunks and powder mixed together. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a huge difference in their morning cup?

My friend switched and said her $20 grinder was basically a rock crusher.

@the_nancy's friend got that right - blade grinders just smash beans into random pieces. What brew method were you using that showed the biggest difference between the two? I noticed the biggest jump in flavor with my pour over, but my French press didn't change nearly as much.
