Heads up about those 'premium cloud forecast' apps

Paid $15 for one that promised perfect lenticular alerts in Colorado, but it just gave generic weather reports. Has anyone found a free tool that actually works for spotting specific formations?

Ugh, those apps are just selling you a weatherman in a fancy coat. Honestly, your best bet is joining a local spotter group on social media. Those folks live for this stuff and will text you the second something cool forms.

That's a good point about local groups, but they're often focused on severe weather for safety. For just cloud spotting, a dedicated online community might be more reliable.
