DAE stop using their phone camera for cloud pics and switch to an old point and shoot
So for about 8 months I was taking all my cloud shots on my phone. Always looked flat, no depth. Last month I dug out my dad's old Canon PowerShot from a drawer and brought it on my morning walks around Spokane. The difference is nuts. Phone shots made big cumulus look like white blobs, but the Canon actually caught the gray shading on the bottom and the soft edges. I got a shot of a lenticular stack over the river last Tuesday that I never could have pulled off before. 12 pictures in and I'm already deleting old phone stuff. Anyone else notice this or is it just the zoom on my phone being weak?
