Hot take: I tried the $1.50 gas station breakfast sandwich on a road trip and now I skip the drive thru completely
Stopped at a random station outside of Tulsa last week because I only had $4 in my wallet and that roller grill sandwich was way better than anything I ever got for $6 at a fast food place. Learned that cheap food does not always mean bad food, it just means you have to be willing to take a shot on it. Anyone else got a gas station or truck stop meal that beat out the big chains?
