I used to think grabbing the marked down sushi tray at the Kroger on Lamar was just a sad solo meal, but my girlfriend and I did it two Fridays ago and it came to $14 for both of us. We took it to the little park by the river, ate on a blanket, and honestly it was better than the $70 dinner we had the week prior. Now I keep an eye on the clearance sticker schedule and we plan our cheap dates around it. Has anyone else built a regular date spot around grocery store deals like this, and where are the best ones?
