A buddy of mine dragged me to the rose test garden up in Washington Park a few years back, and I mostly went along to be polite (not really a flower guy). Turns out the whole place is free and you get this crazy view of the city and Mt Hood on a clear day. We ended up going like four times that summer just to eat lunch on a bench up there. Free stuff you can walk around is kind of the best stuff.
