TIL the Cap'n Crunch villain is literally named after a guy who stole the recipe
Was reading up on the Soggies and found out the whole rivalry started over a stolen ship and a treasure map, not cereal at all. The guy who came up with the character based the whole backstory on a real recipe theft story from the 60s, which honestly makes the mascot wars way weirder. Does anyone know if the Soggies ever got an actual origin story or did they just stay as these blank blob villains forever?
