PSA: the tea stain trick from a bookbinder in Portland fixed my coffee table book cover
I spilled a whole mug of coffee on my copy of "Cats in Hats" from 2019 and the cover looked ruined, until a bookbinder in Portland showed me how to blend the stain with cold tea and a cotton ball. It took 4 passes over two days and now you can barely see it unless you tilt the book toward a window. Has anyone else tried tea on a paper cover, or do you have a better method for hiding stains on glossy cat books?
