Bigger breakfasts are keeping me from crashing mid-job
Honestly, I was always tired by lunch. What's your fuel strategy for full days?

Wait, you could just skip breakfast? My stomach starts growling at me by 9 AM if I don't eat something. I can't even imagine getting to lunch. My brain just stops working if I'm hungry, like I'll stare at a simple email for twenty minutes. A big bowl of oatmeal with peanut butter is my only hope for making it to noon without becoming a zombie.

Used to skip breakfast every day. Having a real meal in the morning completely changed my energy levels though.

My old trainer used to drill into me that the 10 AM slump is usually a protein problem, not a food amount problem. That oatmeal and peanut butter combo Paige mentioned is a good start, but maybe switch to eggs or Greek yogurt. The protein keeps your blood sugar way more stable than carbs alone. It stopped my own crashes when I made that one change.
