My old supervisor's 2 minute feedback stuck with me for a decade

Back in 2014 I was a junior analyst at a small firm in Cleveland. I had just finished a big report and my boss, a guy named Rick, looked at it for maybe 2 minutes and said "your numbers are right but your conclusion is lazy." He didn't explain more, just walked off. I was annoyed for a week until I reread it and saw he was right, I had just listed data without saying what it meant. That single comment changed how I approach every deliverable since, I always ask myself if I'm actually drawing a conclusion or just dumping info. Has anyone else had a short piece of feedback that stuck with you more than any formal review?
