Rant: I called those adhesive cable clips a gimmick, then my TV stand proved me wrong
Six months ago I bought a pack of 20 clear adhesive cable clips for $8 just to prove to my brother they would pop off the second a HDMI cable got warm, and I even bet him a coffee on it. Last weekend I finally flipped my TV stand over to clean and found every single clip still stuck to the wood, holding the power brick and 4 cords flat against the back panel like nothing. What is the actual trick here, because I want to know if I got a lucky batch or if I owe my brother an apology and a latte?
