Update: went with fiber over cable at the new shop and the crew noticed by day 3
When we moved our concrete crew into a bigger shop off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, I had to pick between the cable company's $89 plan and a fiber line at $130 a month. I went with fiber even though it stung, because we run two laptops and a cloud backup for job photos and the cable kept choking whenever someone uploaded a batch. By day 3 the office guy stopped complaining about the upload bar crawling, and the bids started going out before lunch instead of after. If you run a small crew out of a shop, what made you decide fiber was or wasn't worth the extra money?
