That $8 folding stool I bought for long layovers saved my back in Chicago O'Hare

I was stuck in O'Hare for 5 hours last month waiting for a delayed flight. I pulled out this tiny folding stool from my backpack that I got on Amazon. Sat right by the charging station while everyone else was on the floor or leaning on walls. Some guy asked where I got it and I felt like a genius. Ever tried one of these or do you just tough it out on the floor?

Totally feel you on this one. I've had too many layovers where my back was screaming at me after sitting on the floor for an hour. That little stool sounds like a lifesaver, especially by a charging station where everyone's fighting for space.

Heard a travel blogger swear by these things for concerts too, not just airports. She said it saved her back at a festival where there was zero seating. Makes sense, sitting on concrete for hours sounds brutal. Did you get the aluminum one or the plastic one? I'm thinking about grabbing one for my next trip out of LAX.
