Showerthought: I finally got a broker to explain their fee breakdown in plain English

I was looking at a new account and the fee page was just a wall of legal text. I called them up and asked, 'Can you walk me through this like I'm a new person?' The guy actually did, line by line, for about 15 minutes. He pointed out the $4.95 per trade fee and the $25 annual account fee I almost missed. Has anyone else had luck just asking for a simple walk-through?
