Remember when brokers actually answered their phones?
I was sorting through old files last week and found a trade confirmation from 2018 with my old broker's direct line scribbled on it. Called it just for kicks and got a disconnected tone, which got me thinking about how fast this industry shifted. Three years ago I could get my guy on the phone in under 2 rings, now I'm lucky if I get a chatbot within 5 minutes. Anyone else miss the days of actually talking to a human being when a trade went sideways?

I called my old broker last week and got a robovoice that pronounced my name wrong.
