I sat in a coffee shop in Denver and watched a guy rate his own broker for 20 minutes straight
Last Tuesday I was killing time before a shift in Denver and ended up next to this guy at a coffee shop near 16th Street who was writing what looked like a novel in a review box for his broker. I glanced over (sorry, not sorry) and he was on paragraph four. He wrote about how the guy never called back, then how the fees were fine, then how the app was slow, then back to how the guy was rude. It was one star at the top but the body was almost nice in spots. What got me is that he kept saying "I know this sounds crazy" while typing the whole thing. Then he ordered a refill, read it over twice, and deleted the whole thing. It made me think about how many bad reviews out there are just somebody working out their anger in a text box. Do you all trust a long review more or less than a short one?
