Pro tip: that 8 inch block wall number from the guy at the supply yard threw me
Stopped by the yard on Route 9 last week and the counter guy mentioned a standard 8x8x16 block weighs about 35 pounds, which I never actually looked up in 12 years of laying them. Ran the math on a 100 block day and that's over a ton and a half I'm lifting by hand, no wonder my back hates me. How are you guys splitting loads between the mixer and the wall so you're not dead by lunch?
