My spider plant finally made a baby after 3 years of nothing

I kid you not, my spider plant sat there doing nothing for 3 years and then last week I counted 6 little plantlets hanging off one runner. I almost tossed it last summer because it looked so sad, and now it's the busiest thing on my windowsill. What's the longest you've waited on a plant to finally do something?
