Knew I'd hate the audiobook of my favorite novel, then Portland changed my mind
I've reread The Goldfinch at least 5 times since 2015, always on paper, and swore audio would ruin the pacing. Last month I drove from Seattle to Portland for work, 3 hours each way, and grabbed the audiobook out of pure desperation. David Pittu's narration made me notice details I'd skimmed for years, especially the Vegas sections. Has anyone else had a narrator flip their opinion on a book they were sure about?
