Just realized my reading habits flipped in 8 months, and it was one dumb thing that did it
I used to read maybe 3 books a year and felt bad about it constantly. Then last October I moved my phone charger to the kitchen counter, so it stopped living next to my bed. That sounds stupid but it killed the 40 minutes of scrolling I did every night before sleep. By January I was finishing a book every 2 weeks without trying. I read 19 books from January to June, which is more than the last 5 years combined honestly. I want to think I got more disciplined but I really just made the phone inconvenient. Has anyone else made one tiny setup change that accidentally fixed a much bigger habit?
