Stopped hunting for book hauls online and started hitting the library sale bins in person
For about two years I was doing all my book hauling on eBay and thrift sites, paying $4 to $6 a paperback plus shipping without thinking twice about it. Then a friend dragged me to a library sale in Sacramento last month and I walked out with 14 books for $7 total, most of them in better shape than the stuff I'd been buying online. Do you folks hit the in-person sales first now, or is there a site that still beats a church basement table?
