I thought the guy who never buys games was just cheap, but then I saw his shelf
Two years back I joined a Thursday group in Reno and one guy, Marcus, never bought a single game. I figured he was just broke or lazy. Then last month he had us over to his place and his shelf was maybe 20 games, all of them played to death, while mine is 140 deep and half still in shrink. He said he made a rule after his divorce: one new game in means one game out, and he won't buy anything he can't teach in 10 minutes. Now I'm looking at my wall of unplayed boxes and actually thinking about copying him. Anyone else gone from collector brain to small shelf and regret it?
