That $90 repurposed anvil stand was worth every cent

Bought a steel I-beam base from a guy at a flea market near Dayton last month. My old stump was starting to crack and wobble on me during heavy hammer work. Paid $90 and he even helped me bolt it to the concrete floor. Now my anvil sits dead steady even with a 4 pound sledge swinging. Anyone else ditch the wooden block route for a steel frame setup?
