Shoutout to my coworker who brought in homemade pulled pork for the office
It made my whole week and inspired me to try his recipe.

Consider how food sharing in an office is basically a trust fall with barbecue sauce. Letting someone else's cooking into your body is weirdly personal, and nailing their recipe is the ultimate compliment. It turns a simple lunch into a real connection, way better than another team building email. Honestly, that kind of gesture does more for morale than a pizza party, because it actually has some heart behind it.

Hope mine turns out better than my last attempt which I burned.

Honestly, burning a batch is almost a required step in really learning a recipe. You remember exactly what went wrong and it sticks with you, so the next one is way better. That burnt attempt was just paying your dues.
